HERMISTON-It was one red team versus another red team Monday night. Both the PHillies and Cardinals team uniforms are red. That meant the casual observer had to keep full attention to which team was which and know that the Cardinals won 10-3.
The Phillies scored first in the top of the first. The Cardinals came back and scored two runs on a home run in the bottom of the first.
A deep hit to left field brought in two more runs for the Cardinals in the bottom of the third inning to take the lead to 4-2. From that point on it was mostly Cardinals. The PHillies scored one run in the top of the fifth to make it 3-6.
