Irrigon crushes Central Christian 11-2 in soccer

Two players combine for 10 of 11 goals

Irrigon - Irrigon played Central Christian in a soccer match at their new sports field on Saturday. Irrigon won 11-2.

The first score of the match was made by Central Christian in the first minute of play.

The first goal for Irrigon came at the 10th minute of the first half on a header off a corner kick.

Central Christian scored their second and final goal on a penalty kick in the 25th minute of the first.

Irrigon scored their next goal in the 25th minute of the first half. Then in the 34th minute of the first half came another goal from the left side of the box.

Irrigon then scored two quick scores in the final minute and half of the first half. Both goals were by Irrigon's number seven from the left side. The half ended with Irrigon leading 5-2. Irrigon number seven completed a hat trick in the first half.

The Knights came out fast in the second half scoring in the first five minutes by forward number 5. Then the same forward scored again at the tenth minute. Irrigon number five completed his second half hat trick with a goal off a cross from one of his teammates in the 15th minute.

Next came a goal from the right post in the 17th minute. In the 29th minute Irrigon number ten scored on a run right up the middle while being heavily guarded.

The final goal came with 42 seconds left to play.

Irrigon number five scored six goals. Irrigon number seven scored four goals. Irrigon number 10 scored one goal.
