Columbia River Clash Fourth place game played at 4PM on Saturday

UMATILLA - The Rainier Columbians defeated the Helix Lady Grizzlies 47-31 in the
fourth place game of the Columbia River Clash at Umatilla on Saturday December 13,
2008.
Rainier had an 18 point lead at halftime of 33-15.
Rainier held the Grizzlies to 20 for over two minutes in the third period while they
stretched their lead to 21 points. The score at the end of the third was 43-22.
The Grizzlies tried to mount scoring drives during the second half but they never
really could get a streak going. Even with Rainier clearing the bench in the fourth
and going scoreless for the last four minutes of the game they still one by 16 points.
