Hermiston JV Lacrosse Drops Match To Summit

Summit won 9-3

HERMISTON - The Hermiston JV lacrosse team played the first game on Saturday, April 11, 2009. The Summit JV team defeated Hermiston 9-3. It was close match in the first half. Summit led at the end of the first period 2-0. Hermiston battled back and tied it up at 2-2 on goals by Dallion Puzey and Kolton Boedigheimer early in the second period. Summit came back and scored two goals late in the second period to take a 4-2 lead into halftime.

Summit scored the only goal in the third period to take a 5-2 lead. Summit scored four goals over eight minutes in the fourth period to take a 9-2 lead. Then in the closing minutes of the match Hermiston's Tyler Christianson scored the final goal to make the final score 9-3.
