IRRIGON - The Pilot Rock Rockets defeated the Irrigon Knights in a close game 4-0 on
Tuesday May 5, 2009.
The teams were scoreless until the top of the fourth when Pilot Rock had the bases loaded
and a basehit to centerfield scored a run. Then Brittney Doherty hit to centerfield bringing
in two runs to give Pilot Rock a 3-0 lead.
In the top of the fifth a left handed batter hit a shot to left field scoring a runner from
second to give the Rockets the 4-0 lead.
Irrigon tried to get something going in the final innings but couldn't push any runs across.
Pilot Rock took the win 4-0.
