The Dawgs held The Dalles Wahtonka to 10 points from the middle of the first period into the second period for a period about five minutes. Joey Burns hit 9 freethrows. Kurt Simmons and Alex Boedigheimer each hit two treys for the Dawgs.
Hermiston opened the scoring in the game with a jumper by Kurt Simmons. The Eagle Indians came right back and scored to tie it up on a shot by Steve Williams. It was the closest to a lead that 5-2 IMC The Dalles Wahtonka would have in the game. Instead the 1-5 IMC Bulldogs took control of the game from that point. Simmons followed the jumper with a trey and a steal finishing in a layup. Burns then stole the ball and took it in for a layup. It was a good period for the Bulldogs as they shut down TDW at the halfway point while pouring in 13 points over the final four minutes of the first. Hermiston led at the end of the first 26-10.

About midway through the fourth period The Dalles Wahtonka began fouling the Dawgs in an attempt to close the gap. All the fouling seemed to accomplish was cool off TDW's scoring as they only scored two points over two minutes of the late middle of the fourth. Hermiston made most of the freethrows over the end of the fourth and maintained their lead. Hermiston won 77-70 and improved their IMC record to 2-5.
