Enterprise Lady Outlaws Defeat The Irrigon Knights

Enterprise won 45-35

IRRIGON - It was senior night on Friday, February 12, 2010 and the Irrigon Lady Knights hosted the the Enterprise Outlaws. The Outlaws defeated the Knights 45-35. Irrigon had a variety of activities throughout the evening celebrating the seniors and groups at school. The national anthem was performed by violinist Scott Troutman.

The Knights scored first when Noelle Wright hit a freethrow at 6:59 of the first. Shelby Graning then scored for the Outlaws and Enterprise led for the rest of the way. Scoring for the Knights in the first also came from Nathalie Campos, Leslie Coffman and Kendra Kimble. The Knights scoring came mostly from freethrows in the first. The only field goal came from Campos. Enterprise scoring from Sarah Butterfield, Summer DeSpain and Joscelyn Stangel. Enterprise led 11-7 at the end of the first.

Enterprise outscored Irrigon 17-6 in the second period. Scoring for Irrigon were Staci Stanger and Noelle Wright. Wright scored 5 of the 7 points. Scoring for Enterprise were Madison Ribich, Karli McCarthy, DeSpain, and Butterfield. Nine of Enterprise's points in the second came from DeSpain. Enterprise led at halftime 17-6.

Irrigon outscored Enterprise 12-10 in the third. Scoring for the Knights came from Ariel Schock, Coffman, Wright, Kimble and Campos. Enterprise had scoring from Marta Stangel, Alex McCadden, DeSpain, Graning and McCarthy. Enterprise led at the end of the third 38-25.

Irrigon once again outscored Enterprise 10-7 in the fourth period but it wasn't enough to totally close the gap. Knights scoring in the fourth were Schock, Wright, Campos, Stanger and Coffman. Enterprise scoring came from Butterfield, Stangel and DeSpain. Enterprise won 45-35.
