Weston McEwen Sweeps Irrigon In Baseball Doubleheader
Weston McEwen won first game 5-1

IRRIGON -
The Irrigon Knights hosted the Weston McEwen Tiger Scots in a baseball doubleheader
on Saturday, April 10, 2010. Weston McEwen won the first game 5-1 and the second game
12-3.
In the second game Weston McEwen was leading 9-2 at the start of the bottom of the
fourth.
Weston McEwen scored a run in the top of the fifth to stretch the lead to 10-2.
Irrigon was able to score in the bottom of the fifth by loading up the bases.
A grounder scored Leon Luna from third. That cut the WM lead to 10-3.
Weston McEwen scored in the top of the sixth with a runner on second. The runner attempted
to steal third and the throw went into left field allowing the runner to score. The last
score for the Tiger Scots came on a pass ball allowing the runner on third to score.
That was it for the scoring as the Tiger Scots won the second game 12-3.
