Posted Tuesday May 4, 2010

HERMISTON - The Hermiston Bulldogs hosted the Summit Storm in the first of three games over two days on Friday, April 30, 2010. The weather continued to deteriorate as evening approached. A strong wind made for a cool afternoon.

Hermiston led in the bottom of the sixth inning on a bases loaded walk to Jeremy Holden that forced in Larry Posada giving the Dawgs the 5-0 lead. Next up Brad Morton was hit by a pitch forcing in Justin Jones for a 6-0 lead. Following an infield fly rule out Travis Bratton came up and hit a grounder to short scoring Jacob Almaguer. Hermiston led at the end of the sixth 7-0.

Summit didn't get anything going in the top of the seventh with two ground outs and a flyout to end the game.
