The Irrigon Knights defeated the Condon Wheeler Knights 58-44 on Tuesday, December 14, 2010.
Irrigon led at the end of every period through the game.
The Irrigon Knights took the lead from the very start of the game. Scoring for Irrigon in the
first were Colton Garrett, Jose Romero, Ryan Young, and Francisco Nunez with a run of 7 points
in the middle of the period. Irrigon led at the end of the first 19-10.
Condon Wheeler closed the gap but Irrigon maintained the lead in the second period. Scoring
in the second for Irrigon came from Sean Barron and Ramon Leon. Irrigon led at halftime 23-22.
Irrigon outscored Condon Wheeler 18 to 10 in the third period. Scoring for the Knights came
from Jose Romero, Ryan Young, Ernesto Aguilera, Colton Garrett, and Osvaldo Macias. Irrigon led
at the end of the third 41-32.
Irrigon continued to control the game out scoring Condon Wheeler 17-12 in the fourth period.
Scoring in the fourth for Irrigon came from Colton Garrett who scored six in a row early in
the period. Francisco Nunez hit a trey and two free throws. Jose Romero hit two shots in
a row towards the end of the game. Irrigon won 58-44.
