STANFIELD - The Stanfield Tigers defeated Union 6-1 in a single baseball game on Saturday, May 7, 2011. It the kind of day that the clouds came and went and there was a nearly constant breeze. Temperature was in the mid 60s.

Stanfield led 4-1 in the bottom of the fourth when put another run on the board. After the lead off batter struck out Bryce Linker stole first base on a pass ball. Devin Bailey then walked. Trey Blevins then hit a grounder and Bailey was thrown out at second base. Quin Grogan then hit to right field scoring Linker and giving Stanfield the 5-1 lead.

Stanfield scored in the bottom of the sixth inning. Union struck out the first two Tiger batters then Devin Bailey hit to left field. Trey Blevins then hit to right field. Then with Quin Grogan at bat Bailey scored from third on a pass ball giving Stanfield their winning final score of 6-1.
