Irrigon Defeated Burns

IRRIGON - The Irrigon Knights defeated the Burns HiLanders 8-0 in soccer action on Saturday, October 15, 2011. It was a sunny, warm afternoon with temperatures in the mid to high 60s. Shirtsleeve weather.

Irrigon came out fast scoring four goals in the first 20 minutes. The match then settled down with Irrigon rotating fresh players into the match. Burns also worked on their defense. Irrigon dominated the first half with shots on goal.

Irrigon scored four more goals in the second half as they out shot Burns, unofficially, 19 to 1. Irrigon goals came in the second minute, 13th minute, 21st minute and 23rd minute. Irrigon won 8-0.
