Irrigon Skate Park

IRRIGON -
The Don Baxter Skate Park in Irrigon hosted a skateboard and bike competition on Saturday,
October 15, 2011.
The actual competition had finished and only a few athletes remained when I arrived after
the Irrigon soccer team defeating Burns.
One of the boarders, Justin Crawford, was still practicing his moves. Crawford is a 16 year old
Irrigon sophomore. He started out as an in line skater and moved to skateboarding a couple of
years ago. Justin came in second place in the skateboard competition.
