HERMISTON- The Hermiston Bulldogs defeated the Hood River Valley Eagles 61-55 on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. It was a fairly tight game with the teams exchanging or tied at least 11 times in the match.

Hermiston led 13-11 at the end of the first quarter.

Hermiston out scored Hood River 20-14 in the second quarter. Scoring for Hermiston in the second quarter were Jordan Turner, Jake Flyg, Braden Williams, Ramon Contreras, Alex Ortiz and Michael Pederson. Hermiston led by eight at halftime, 33-25.

Hood River battled their way back in the third quarter. The Eagles closed the gap to a single point by out scoring Hermiston 17-12. Scoring for the Bulldogs in the third quarter were Michael Pederson, and Alex Ortiz. Hermiston hung on to lead by one point, 45-44.

Hermiston took control of the back in the fourth quarter scoring 16 to Hood River's 11 points. Scoring for Hermiston in the fourth were Michael Pederson, Ramon Contreras, Jordan Turner and Jake Flyg. Hermiston won by six, 61-55.
