HERMISTON -
The 6A Lincoln Cardinals defeated the Hermiston Lady Bulldogs 1-0 in softball on Monday, April 15,
2013. It was a cool, blustery day at game time.
The game was scoreless until the top of the fifth inning when Lincoln was able to get
the lead off batter on base with a hit to center field. A sac bunt a fly out to center
field moved the lead off batter to third base. A hit to right field scored the lone run of
the game for Lincoln.
Hermiston did put a couple runners on base in the bottom of the sixth but couldn't bring them
home.
The Lincoln Cardinals won the game 1-0.
